It's hard to beweib...but today iz de 5th annibersary ob my "gotcha day" wif mommie n daddie! I wuz a bery skared widdle bwack bwindle corn dawg when dey dwobe home wiff me dat day...but I've made such big steps in diz 5 years...mommie n daddie say I'm wike a hole dibberent dawgie. I still hab some feerz webt ober fwom doze dayz in dat puppee mill...but ebery monf and yeer I make some more steps. My mommie and daddie wub mee wotz...and I wubs dem, too!

Hector iz a pweddee gud kid....he seemz to no hiz pwace in de order ob de howz...I iz corn dawg pwinsess, Hunter iz mi serbant, and Hector is Hunter's serbant! Hector duzn't get in our faces, he pwayz wen we want to, but he also entertainz himselb wen we aren't in de mood to pway! He bawks and howlz ifn de hoomanz leave him awone...like wawking uz furst or if dey go to bed in de uder woom...so dey moved his cwate into de bedwoom...and he's quiet as a mouse in his cwate den! He'z weally not a wot ob twouble....and he'z gonna make some hoomanz a gwate nu furmily member!

De hoomanz webt de howz diz mawning and sed dey'd be back befur wong...dey WERE, and dey bwought diz corn dawg home fur uz to teach mannerz and udder tingz while Col. Potter findz him hiz bery own fureber home. He seemz to be an ok kid....we won't hab eny weal contakt wiff him fur a few dayz while we awl getz ust to each udder's smells! Mom n dad say he's cute!

It's been a long hot summer.....

and Hunter and me have been doing lots of lounging around indoors with daddy while mommy's been TRYING to adjust to a new job...which is another story (which she says she won't bore everyone here with). Byrnes (Bernie as mom kallz him), is still here wiff uz....wukz wike he'z gonna be heer wiff uz until August 15, den he goez on a bid plane to Shikago, and den up to Wiskonsin fur his fosser home. He will be heer 3 weeks (almost), and while he'z ok, Hunter n mee will be bery happee to hab our mom n dad to ourselbz egin. Bernie is a handsum fella, dough.....heerz a pikshure ob him!

Mom and dad were gone for a few hours today...and they came home with anudder CORN DAWG! Mom seyz she is a real cutie pie who will have a permanent home of her bery own very soon! We are only keeping her tonite, den tomorrow she will go to her fosser home while her purfect home waits to find her.

The hoomans went and visited other DAWGS yesterday....

the NERVE of them! Since we cudn't be awwowed to wun fwee az de yard wuzn't fenced in, and dere waz de possibilitee dat de dawgz dat wibbed at diz pwace wud hab to be cwated, de hoomanz weft uz at home. When she gotz home fwom Westminster her kamera wudn't wurk....she tinkz it gotz tu wet in awl de snow n sleet n ice. So, she ordered anudder wun, and she's been taking more pikshurez ob uz wif it. She gotz wun ob mee and wun ob Hunter where we were smiling and here dey r!
